Hiya! Let me introduce myself.

I’m a number of things to a number of people.

Wife, to a strong minded, quick witted, once wild, now tamed,

(by me, according to the clan) Scotsman, harking from The Highlands.

You can actually see Ben Nevis from his folks’ back doorstep – it’s incredible!

Mother, to a sassy, funny, FABLIOUS (her word) can be flouncy, always bouncy,

three-year-old whirlwind, affectionately known as The Wildling.

Daughter, to loving, thoughtful, do 'owt for anyone, Lancashire living parents.

Perched just about on the border of Yorkshire, making an ideal pop over th'ill, to our now home in Leeds. I know, I know, I’m from the dark side…. kinda depends how you look at it!

I also respond to: Daughter-in-law to caring Pauline & bookworm Donald.

Sister-in-law to wicked humoured Heather & super smart Andrew.

May as well be Sister-in-law, to creative, warm hearted Lizzie & gruff yet gentle Graham.

Auntie to seven completely unique Nephews and Nieces, dotted all over the globe.

Godmother to 'Gorgeous George-ous'.

Cousin to many, who still argue - about who is the favourite!

And Friend to more - The Home Gals, Warwick Gals, Mamas & Musos.

I go by: Joey-Anna, Jo-Bi, Josephine & Joanne (when I'm in trouble) and of course jojo, depending on the gang.

Once an intrepid traveller, in the Summer of 1999, halfway through my teaching degree, my bestie and I journeyed from the East to West coast of America, by Greyhound bus!

Plus the length of California. IIn my 20’s, I quit my job, after a relationship quit me, spending

8 months exploring Vietnam with Dear Charlie. Solo in Australia from Sydney to Perth on the Indian Pacific Railway (and back!) Then up to Cairns taking in Fraser Island & The Whitsundays. Finally working on sheep farms & camper-vanning around New Zealand.

I returned to N.Z again in 2007, convinced it was where my heart and soul belonged....

only for my dream to be shattered two years later (more on that another time.)

I’ve lived in the North West, Midlands, South West & East of England.

Tiny pieces of my heart are scattered all over the world.

Life so far has been good. A bit of a rollercoaster, but I’m grateful.

Fast Forward. It’s April 2020. Life is rather "different" now. For all of us.

We are in the midst of a Covid-19 World Pandemic. In the U.K - we are in lock-down!

Oh and did I mention? I have bipolar disorder….
